Secret Intelligence in the Undiscovered Country

Consider for a moment the words of William Shakespeare that characterizes our fear of the future in Hamlet. Hamlet says he is better, to the evils of the day, than to suffer at the Undiscovered Country.

“The Undiscovered Country, returns from his charge no hikers, puzzles the will and makes us rather bear those ills we have than to fly others that we know not of” Hamlet is not the expression of a fear not to die, but not knowing what lay ahead. He said that the future frightens us. And this in a world that is characterized by turbulent change, it is easy to see why so many people are unsure of the future. Historical reports show a general perception among the population was similar to the Renaissance and the Enlightenment.
