Referring to Socialism Is a Republican Tactic to Grind Down the Middle Class
Pontes preservatives, spokesman for the 1%, try the word “socialism” or “socialist” in everything they say in politics, especially when they criticize President Obama and the Democratic Party to throw. It is time to call in their game, and show how they use psychology to manipulate the American electorate.
Words are symbols that have deep meaning in our subconscious. For those of my generation and older, is called “socialism” of the former Soviet Union the “evil empire” that has dominated Russian life for over 70 years. It was a system that did not work celebrates. So with the word conservative rhetoric is a way to subconscious memory trigger something very wrong and bad.
We must ask ourselves an important question. What was President Obama’s message of “change” so deep resonance with the American people? The answer is simply that the “social contract” is broken in our country and we want it fixed!
Just call a poignant “WeArethe99Percent” summarizes the problem: Read the rest of this entry »
Career Evolution Or Career Intelligent Design?
The dispute between evolution and intelligent design recently came mind when professional development in this difficult economic environment. The more traditional view of professional development is the approach of intelligent design – defining career goals and develop a plan to achieve them step by step. In an environment as volatile as this, but it is difficult to see how the best laid plans of career to a successful conclusion can be traced back on the road without many hiccups!
The evolutionary approach to professional development may be more effective in the current job market. In a Darwinian sense, it “survival of the fittest” is in the organization. In the evolutionary approach that you do not plan too far (who knows what will happen next year!), But an effective response to new situations that arise, to paraphrase the mantra of the Marine Corps -.. “Improvise, adapt and overcome” Success comes when you

Color Psychology – How Color Affects Emotions, From a Fashion Design Perspective
When we get dressed in the morning, one of the decisions we undoubtedly make is which colors to wear that day. Will it be the blue shirt or the red one? The brown pants or the black pair? While we may prefer one color over another for purely aesthetic reasons, psychologists have shown that colors affect our moods -and the way others perceive us – in different ways. When it comes to fashion, then, the colors we choose to wear reflect our personalities as much as the style and cut of our clothing. So what are the emotions associated with different colors, and what are we telling the world when we wear them?
Blue. If you were to ask people their favorite color, many would say blue. It’s also one of the most popular colors in fashion design. One reason might be that the color blue creates a feeling of peace and tranquility. It’s also a color that implies hard work and loyalty (thus the phrase “true blue”), making it a good color to wear for job interviews. And when the president wears his blue jeans and blue chambray shirt, you know he’s ready to roll up his sleeves and get to work. Read the rest of this entry »
Intelligent Design in School Today!
When President Bush was asked if the concept of “Intelligent Design” should be taught in schools, he remarked, “You’re asking me whether or not people ought to be exposed to different ideas, and the answer is yes.” This remark by the President sparked wide controversy from many scientists and portions of the press. Government schools in a secular country were not supposed to teach religion. Many scientists held the view that life was a mere accident and not the result of purposeful design. Any suggestion that there was purposeful design would make it religious instruction. Only if the children were taught that life was an accident would it be scientific.
The Christian Church held that the scientific concept of evolution as “an unguided, unplanned process of random variation and natural selection” was not true. On the other side, many scientists held that the advancement of life to modern man was exactly such a process. Read the rest of this entry »
Science vs Religion – Some Random Thoughts on Intelligent Design
I am surprised to see this debate about science vs religion opened back up recently. I thought I settled it back in 1978 when I did my research paper for Mrs. Fitzgerald’s High School English class.
I am also reminded of the essay I wrote for my final exam in college physics. The subject was quantum physics. The question was whether you believed in the theory of quantum physics and to defend your answer.
After spending an entire semester learning quantum physics and how to use it to predict chemical reactions, I wrote that no I did not believe in the theory. I was the only one in the class to take this side of the argument. Read the rest of this entry »
